This poster advertises a reading of Bartleby the Scrivener by Herman Melville. The goal was to articulate metaphors about the story. I chose to combine 2 metaphors: the book as a tabloid with its pulp fiction history and sometimes outrageous language, and Bartleby as a bird who refuses to join the flock and engage in the struggle of life.
